Case Report: Man in 60s w/ Chest Pain after NTG

Check out the latest case report from Dr. Brady Pregerson, which features a man in his 60s presenting with 16 hours of chest pain.

History: A man in his 60’s presents to the emergency department for 16 hours of non-pleuritic, non-exertional, non-radiating chest discomfort. He denies syncope, palpitations, SOB, fever, cough or other complaints.

Exam: Vital signs are normal except for a borderline pulse is in the mid 90’s. Exam is otherwise normal.

An EKG is done:

What is the most likely diagnosis?

A) Pneumothorax

B) Pulmonary Embolism

C) Acute Coronary Syndrome

D) Dysrhythmia
