Endotheliopathy of COVID-19 Blood Clots

Director of Yale's Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program offers insight from a recent study he led attempting to determine the root cause of blood clots in COVID-19 patients.

This episode of the Practical Cardiology Podcast features an interview with Dr. Hyung Chun, associate professor of medicine and pathology at Yale School of Medicine and director of Translational Research in the Yale Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program.

Chun recently led a study examining one of the most pressing issues in the treatment of COVID-19 patients: Blood clots. In the following interview, Chun discusses the potential mechanism behind blood clots in COVID-19 patients as well as the overall impact blood clots have on treatment course.
