As women get older, they may need more help from their medical providers to have the sex life they want. New treatments are being developed to help make that a reality.

Sheryl Kingsberg, PhD, from University Hospitals of Cleveland discussed this topic during the recent meeting of the North American Menopause Society. Kingsberg said there is a "myth" in some parts of the population that women - as they get older - are not interested in having an active sex life. Seeing past that, she said there is a lot that can be done so they can have the life they want even as they age.
