There is no question that hunger can affect a person's life, a recent study looked at the scientific aspect of this discussion and what doctors can do to help patients with this challenge.

Tamas L. Horvath, DVM, PhD, from Yale University discussed the effects of hunger during the American Diabetes Association's annual meeting in New Orleans. Horvath noted that hunger plays a key role in a person's behavior and can dictate how a person moves through their daily lives. Managing hunger can help a person improve their overall quality of life on a daily basis.
