With Saddam Hussein's recentfall from power in Iraq, QueenElizabeth II of England has takenover his spot on the list of theworld's wealthiest rulers. TheQueen's pot of gold, valued at$525 million, is much smaller thanSaddam's $2-billion stash, whichput him in a tie for third placewith Prince Hans Adam II ofLiechtenstein. Topping the list isKing Fahd of Saudi Arabia, with anestimated worth of $20 billion, followedby Sultan Haji HassanalBolkiah of Brunei Darussalam,with an $11-billion nest egg. YasirArafat makes the list with an estimated$300 million, and so doesFidel Castro, whose wealth ispegged at $110 million. By comparison,President George W. Bush,with an estimated worth of $15million, is a pauper.
