Once the guidelines are updated it becomes even more important to get that information into the field to help the patients who can benefit from them.

Once the guidelines are updated it becomes even more important to get that information into the field to help the patients who can benefit from them.

Monica Kleinman, MD, from Boston Children's Hospital discussed some of the most recently introduced guidelines for basic and advanced life support during the American Heart Assocation Association's annual scientific sessions in Orlando. Kleinman noted that while the new guidelines can help in a variety of ways, they are also constantly evolving making getting the most recent information out as fast as possible a priority for those in patient care.
