JUST ASK FOR HELP
Tip:
If the size of Junior's financial aidpackage at the college of their choiceleaves you with a budget gap, youmay be able to coax more cash out ofthe college if you ask. Your odds ofgetting more help are a lot better ifthere's been some change in yourfinancial picture since you filled outthe aid forms, like recent retirementor heavy medical expenses. Somecolleges, however, will review andmatch more lucrative aid packagesfrom other schools. In short, youneed a fairly good reason to ask forextra help. Without one, you'll probablyget turned down. The betterJunior's grades are, the more flexiblethe college is likely to be on aid.
