McLarson, MD is a physician-scientist, having both an MD and PhD. He is as practical as a physician, but enjoys theorizing and number-crunching as a scientist. As a pre-med undergrad, he was awarded the Dr. Pepper Murray scholarship (yes, he actually met a live Dr. Pepper) that required he take a few business-oriented courses, which opened up a whole new world to the previously narrow-minded science nerd. Outside of work and family life, he enjoys discussing and learning more about human potential, personal finance, health economics, and musing about ways to keep money away from insurance companies, bankers, lawyers, politicians, and inefficiencies in American healthcare. Email him at doc.mclarson@gmail com.
