With the military situation inIraq now clear, the nation's leadingmoney managers are very confidentin the stock market for thebalance of the year, according to2003 Big Money Poll.More than 61% of those surveyedwere "bullish" on the market'slong-term prospects; just 11% were"bearish." The consensus assetallocation recommended amongthe 145 money managers was 64%equities, 23% fixed income, and13% cash. The industries that wonfavorable review were financials,health care, energy, and technology.The stocks that won popularpoll profiles were Pfizer, Citigroup,GE, Johnson & Johnson, NewmontMining, and Aetna.
